Conservation Note:
The cleaning of the decorated fragment surfaces was carried out manually, through the use of brushes, scalpels and a small electric drill. Chemical cleaning, using organic solvents and applying a compress of ammonia and cotton was done in the case of hard incrustation. The inconsistent results of the test cleaning of the resinous substance revealed that it would be undesirable to remove it. In addition to the coating’s position within the original historical context.
